A relaxing news for all income tax assessees who are due to file their income tax return as of 31st July 2013 for the financial year 2012-13. The due date has been extended from 31st July 2013 to 5th August 2013.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes, in exercise of powers conferred under section 119 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, hereby, extends the due-date for filing returns of income from 31st July 2013 to 5th August 2013.
