We are glad to announce that the Trade Marks Registry of Government of India has approved the registration of ‘Cogzidel’ as our brand name. Now, we can officially use the letter ‘R’ as circled and as superscript, next to the word ‘Cogzidel’ wherever we use.
Since we do trade mark registration of brand name and logo of our clients, we understand that how difficult it is to obtain the final approval. If the name or logo what we intend to trade mark closely resembles with that of an existing one, the registry will reject our application. By the time they reject the application, it would be too late for you and there are high possibilities that you would have become quite popular with that brand name by that time. In such a case, you have no choice except to change the brand name / logo.
We can still notice that many sub-units of top brands like Google, Pizza Hut, Dell etc still use ‘TM’ as superscript as they have not received the approval of the registry yet.
